Common Questions
I am an out-of-network provider, which means I don't bill insurance directly. However, I can provide a superbill after each session that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement — depending on your out-of-network mental health benefits.
I recommend calling your insurance company ahead of time and asking: "What are my out-of-network mental health benefits for outpatient therapy?" Most people are surprised by what they're eligible for.
I also offer sliding scale rates, because I believe therapy should be accessible. Please reach out to talk through what might work for your situation.
Sessions are 50–60 minutes. They're collaborative, organized, and goal-directed — you won't just be talking into the void wondering if anything is happening.
We'll work together on what matters most that session, and you can expect to leave with something tangible: a new perspective, a skill to practice, a strategy for the week ahead. The approach is always non-judgmental and empowering.
I believe you are the expert on your own life. My job is to help you access what you already have — and build what you still need.
Honestly? The relationship matters more than almost anything else in therapy. That's why I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation — so we can talk, see if it feels like a good fit, and make sure we're aligned on what you're hoping to work toward.
There's no pressure and no commitment. It's just a conversation. If I'm not the right fit, I'm happy to help you find someone who is.
Schedule a Free CallYes — I offer both. In-person sessions take place at my office in Pasadena (482 N Rosemead Blvd, Suite 207, Pasadena, CA 91107). Telehealth sessions are available via secure video for clients anywhere in California.
Some clients prefer the warmth of in-person sessions; others find the flexibility of telehealth makes consistency easier. We can talk about what would work best for you.
If you are in immediate danger or experiencing a psychiatric emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.
You can also call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline — available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, free and confidential.
This depends entirely on what you're working on and what your goals are. Some clients work on a specific concern for a few months and feel ready to move on. Others work on deeper, complex issues for a year or more.
From the start, we'll be intentional about goals and progress. You won't feel like you're in an open-ended process without a sense of direction. Therapy with me is goal-directed — we'll know what we're working toward and check in on how it's going.

Notice to clients: Under the law, healthcare providers need to give clients who don't have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service, or at any time during treatment.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059.
